We’ll be holding a special class for puppies 6 months and younger, beginning Tuesday, Nov. 29 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Click here to enroll.
Topics covered: Sit, down, stay, come when called, crate training, house training, socialization and more.

Lots of people think owning a puppy is going to be the simplest thing in the world. Just housebreak them and move on to enjoying the adorableness, right? Unfortunately, you can’t imagine how many owners we see at the six-month mark of puppy ownership, wishing like crazy they’d learned some basic training when they brought the pup home.

You’ll find that puppies are absolutely adorable – but they can also have you tearing your hair out in frustration as they chew everything in sight, pee all over and seem to not listen to a word you say.

This four-week course teaches your puppy basic manners and gets past that horribly frustrating beginner period quickly. Nearly all owners think raising a puppy will be a breeze and find out otherwise too late. Don’t make that mistake; take this training course and you’ll be able to enjoy all the wonderful things about having a puppy without behavior issues getting in the way.

We’ll cover puppy care and management, proper socialization, leadership skills, potty training, crate training, manners, mouthing, jumping, relationship building, preventing separation anxiety, building confidence and body handling.

Puppy I is open to puppies 2 to 4 months old at the start of the class; Puppy II is open to puppies 4 to 8 months old at the start of class. All puppies must have a veterinarian health check and their age-appropriate vaccines so that our entire class stays healthy.
